Filesplitter Free Downloads

Split large files quickly and easily FileSplitter 1.0 FileSplitter is a freeware and open source, no frills tool to split up files into a specified number of chunks. Whether you're on dialup and need to transfer large files over the internet without worrying about timeouts or disconnection; want to send that large presentation or document via email or even put that movie file on rapidshare, FileSplitter will chop down your file into more manageable pieces in 4 clicks on your mouse.

File splitter would not work for splitting my .wwmmovie, thanks anyway.

Passed my test with flying colors! Wanted to cut up a single DVD file of a very short home video Ihad created. I wondered if the splits could be re-assembled and still valid, since DVD files are so critically structured. Your app re-joined them, in working condition. Now I can send it to my daughter using YouSendit online, which limits you to 100mb for the free version. (I selected 99mb for max. filesizes)She\'ll get it sooner than in the mail, and will have the full working menu I designed, to burn to DVD, or put on flash drive ...

It is a great tool. Very simple and effective. Thanks

verrrryyy nice.thanks

FileSplitter - simple to use Used FileSplitter to remove sections of unwanted MPEG2 video, (i.e. I made the orig movie into small chunks, with the ides of removing unwanted sections)I liked the fact that the split video sections could be played normally - something that the new version didn't do.After rejoined the movie, it ran without glitch.A good application, which run quickly.

Very compact, but I needed more power. A 4.5 GByte image was created as two FAT32 Files, 3.99 GB + 0.5 GB.The image application made a mistake, and they got zapped. An Undelete application found them and restored to different partitions.FAT32 threw a wobbly when it got to 3.98 GB.An NTFS partition accepted what Undelete gave it, which was 5 GB, including a 0.5 GB tail-end I did not want.FileSplitter was unable to split this 5 GB into the original two files plus a third residual junk file. Both FFSJ.exe and TheFilesplitter131 solved my problem, but so they should with 20 to 40 times as much code.Alan.

Free File Splitter Free File Splitter 5.0.1189 File Splitter is a freeware program which does not require installation and can be used to split files to multiple chunks as well as to merge multiple chunks into a single file.

Awesome stuff, thanks.

Good Application Nice application buddy, better than HJ Split :)

File Splitter The application did not perform as promised. It took a 10 GB AVI video file and produced a 1.5 GB file and two 1.0 GB files, none of which were playable on my computer. I have deleted the application from my computer and successfully used a program called AVI Splitter.

Good but slow It does the job bet I want to split dvd-iso files of 4,4GB in half because than it fits on my FAT32 External-Hard disk. But I it takes to long and I only need 2 pieces. So It's good use but not what I want.

did not work I had a 4.5 gigabyte file I was trying to split. Every time I ran FFS it created only 1 chunk and then stopped. Looked to me like it "forgot" to start over with a new filename so it just created and re-created that first chunk until it finished the file, but it was over-writing the file so in the end I only had the last chunk.(Why use it? I created an image of my hard drive using Acronis TrueImage which was 4.5 gb in size. Then I needed to transport it with a fat32 external drive. Fat32 has a 4gb limit ...

Worked Well The program allowed me to send a very large 50MB file that was urgent, easily. Thankyou
